Inflation of eliminators

Hi, now a few months into the new game, i am not sure, if the semifinal eliminators are good for the game, it Blocks so many fighters with cut off Dates, and each Title only needs to be defended once a year.

Especially for national Titles, its a long way, and fighting for national and subcontinental can Block each other out.

The oppurtumity for more fighters in the Title race is a pro, but atm not sure, if it helps the game.

What Do others think?

I believe feedback in the last version was that it was often too hard to get fighters involved in the title at the top level, and this is my solution.

Unfortunately, its a change that would be very difficult to undo, so i wouldn't consider changing this until we've given it a few game years and if there is a strong feeling against the system.

Happy to hear feedback though

edit: also note that i don't think a fighter can hold a national and subcontinental at the same time. to stop "hoarding" of titles, you can only hold multiple titles if they are at the same class.  So the standard subcontinent titles such as South American can't be held at the same time as the Argentinian or other nationals in South America.

However, there are some special titles like the Nordic or Commonwealth which are the same class as national and so can be held at the same time

With now almost 2 full game years gone, here is more Feedback about the Semifinal Eliminators:

Its a good way, to have as many fighters in the title race as possible, so for the World Title its ideal, however for the minor titles, its often very troublesome, as people are invited sometimes for 3 Eliminators, and you juggle around, to either having to wait for someone to clear purse bids, for him to be removed, or having to decide, which title you want to go after, while AI fighters always choose the highest.

The Inflation of Eliminators also makes the Intercontinental title a bit more worthless in my eye, as its often tough to find opponents for the Minor World titles, as most top 25 fighters are in some Eliminator or Title fight involved.

I have no suggestion, how to make it better, or if it is even worse, than just having a final eliminator, but thought I give more Feedback, and hope for input from others, how they feel.

I like the eliminators but agree that the elimination tournament takes so long you can find yourself locked out of a title scene for an entire year(it's dangerous atm to book a fight more than two months ahead in case an eliminator comes up).

I actually think the main issue is that the non-title TV thresholds are too high, making the belts a little too important. For a regional level fight you'd need both fighters to have an average of 400 class & pop, in practice this is far higher than 99% of regional title fights. When a fighter in Argentina wins a national belt his class is instantly boosted to 600 and pop to 400 - so a 500 average - yet for a non-title fight to be worth it to TV deals both he and his opponent would need a 650 average to be considered equivalent. Most guys at this level would be on the continental, or even fringes of the world scene
