Ben Caird vs Sid Mungle

Boxing Daily Report from the Vexa promoted show at Santa Ana Blackshaw, Santa Ana,  taking place on 18/10/2045:

Clearly Vexa have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-California Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ben Caird (7 - 7(1) - 2) who hails from Oxnard, USA and Sid Mungle(19 - 27(5) - 8) from Anaheim, USA.  Caird weighed in at 167 pounds and 9 ounces, while Mungle weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Gareth Downey, and the three ringside judges are Clinton Proffitt, Noel Spencer and Mick Gwilym.  

Round 1: 

Mungle gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Caird is looking to keep his distance.  Caird stalks forward with a low guard, trying to draw a lead from his opponent.  Mungle throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook to Mungle's ribcage.
