Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Boxing promoted show at Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), Melbourne,  taking place on 27/05/2045:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the WRBA Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SBS1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are William McGovern (49(43) - 6(4)) who hails from Dublin, Ireland and Alex McNicol(45(31) - 7(4) - 2) from Aberdeen, UK.  Both McGovern and McNicol weighed in at 200 pounds.
