John McCaw vs Ellis Vann

Boxing Daily Report from the Ringside Promotions promoted show at JMA Wireless Dome, Syracuse,  taking place on 25/03/2045:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Americas Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are John McCaw (30(23) - 2(2)) who hails from Nashville, USA and Ellis Vann(81(46) - 6(1) - 2) from Spanish Town, Jamaica.  Both McCaw and Vann weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mark Bonito, and the three ringside judges are Massimo Alemanno, James Meredith and Peter Gatti.  

Round 1: 

Vann tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
McCaw is looking to close the distance.  Vann throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.
