John Lyster vs Michael McCowan

Boxing Daily Report from the Hands Promotions promoted show at Sun Life Stadium, Miami,  taking place on 29/10/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Lyster (64(55) - 6(3) - 1) who hails from Surprise, USA and Michael McCowan(24(5) - 2(2)) from Cambridge, UK.  Both Lyster and McCowan weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Paul Bason, and the three ringside judges are Paul Romans, Javier Resendiz and Brett Arthur.  

Round 1: 

Lyster lands with a spiteful jab.

McCowan throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
McCowan is looking to close the distance and walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  McCowan lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left uppercut to the head.

Lyster steps away from his opponent and lands an overhand right to the head followed by two jab's to the body.  
McCowan closes the distance and drives a left hook into Lyster's body.

Lyster quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  McCowan lands a cross.  
Lyster is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Lyster tries to step out of his opponents range and hits home with a cross.

McCowan closes the distance.  Lyster lands a stinging left hook.

Lyster switches the action to the outside and is on target with a jab.  Lyster tries to land an overhand right, but McCowan sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
McCowan gets on the inside and walks his opponent onto the ropes.  McCowan lands a right uppercut.  
Lyster lands a left hook.

Lyster finds the target with a jab.  
McCowan forces Lyster to back into the ropes.  Lyster lands a solid left hook.

Lyster steps away from his opponent and lands two jabs followed by an overhand right to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Lyster is looking to force the stoppage!  Lyster lands a right uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a cross, right uppercut and a cross to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES MCCOWAN!  He beats the count, getting up at 7.  
McCowan clinches his opponent.  Lyster is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks McCowan's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
McCowan advances into close range.  Lyster senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Lyster lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head, AND DROPS MCCOWAN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.  McCowan now seems to have got his legs back.  
Lyster is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands an overhand left followed by a cross to his opponents head, AND SENDS MCCOWAN TO THE CANVAS!  The ref waves off the fight.  He does not believe McCowan can continue!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Lyster!
