Davie Johnston vs Davie Grass

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at PCYC Redcliffe, Brisbane,  taking place on 13/02/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Australia Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on WIN, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Davie Johnston (26(3) - 20(6) - 5) who hails from Sydney, Australia and Blades Davie Grass(29(17) - 2(2)) from Brisbane, Australia.  Johnston weighed in at 140 pounds and 10 ounces, while Grass weighed in at 140 pounds.    As Johnston came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Paul Phaup, and the three ringside judges are Giorgio Lombardo, Brendan Moultrie and Mark Lockie.

Grass gets on the inside.  Grass lands a left hook to the body followed by a cross to the head, AND DROPS JOHNSTON TO THE CANVAS!  He isnt going to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Grass!
