Paul Carns vs George Page

Boxing Daily Report from the Australia Top Academy promoted show at Melbourne Fedorovtsev, Melbourne,  taking place on 30/10/2043:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Australia-Victoria Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on WIN, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Paul Carns (23(10) - 10(4) - 1) who hails from Melbourne, Australia and George Page(7 - 13(5) - 3) from Melbourne, Australia.  Carns weighed in at 226 pounds and 13 ounces, while Page weighed in at 236 pounds and 1 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Johnny Elias, and the three ringside judges are Michael Pac, Leeroy Nicolaides and Aaron Hadjinyan.  

Round 1: 

Carns advances into close range and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Carns ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Carns pushes his forearm into Page's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Carns connects with a left hook.  Carns holds on to his opponent.  Carns is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Carns.

Carns lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  Carns ties up his opponent.  Carns leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Carns manages to force Page onto the ropes.  Carns digs in a sharp right hook to Page's body.  Carns clinches his opponent.  Carns uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Page behind the head. 
Carns throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Carns holds on to his opponent.  Carns leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Carns lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Carns lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND DROPS PAGE TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  Page quickly recovers. 
Carns steps inside and lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Carns lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Carns digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Carns attempts to land a right hook, but Page blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Carns lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Carns ties up his opponent.  Carns leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Carns's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  Page wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Carns dabs at his face checking for damage.  Carns has taken some damage there.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.

Carns lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  He then lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Carns clinches his opponent.  Carns is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Carns to stop holding.

Carns closes the distance and drives a left hook into his opponents liver.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Page's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Page's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.
