Dimi Baran vs Luka Afinogenov

Boxing Daily Report from the Nakawala Promotions promoted show at Volgograd Lazko, Volgograd,  taking place on 29/09/2043:

Clearly Nakawala Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Russia-Volgograd Oblast Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dimi Baran (2(1) - 0) who hails from Volgograd, Russia and Luka Afinogenov(10 - 18 - 3) from Volzhsky, Russia.  Baran weighed in at 121 pounds And 8 ounces, while Afinogenov weighed in at 121 pounds And 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Goga Kuzma, and the three ringside judges are Kolya Nikolaev, Mikhail Kruglov and Marlen Kozlovsky.

Baran gets on the inside.  Afinogenov throws a left hook, but Baran clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Baran pushes his forearm into Afinogenov's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Baran about fouling.

Baran advances into close range and is on target with a stinging left hook to Afinogenov's liver.

Baran gets on the inside.  Baran is on target with a weighty right hook to Afinogenov's ribcage.  AFINOGENOV WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Afinogenov dabs at his face checking for damage.  Afinogenov almost instantly recovers.

Afinogenov is looking to keep his distance.  Baran lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Baran steps inside and lands a right uppercut followed by  two left uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Baran lands a sharp left hook.  
Baran hits home with a cross.  
Baran lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Afinogenov switches the action to the outside.  Baran lands an overhand right, cross and an overhand right to his opponents head.  
Baran pivots to the left of his opponent and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Baran hits home with a solid left hook.  
Baran drives a firm left uppercut into his opponents ribs.  
Afinogenov tries to step out of his opponents range.  Baran lands a sharp cross.  
Baran advances into close range.  Baran quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Baran lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Baran clinches his opponent.  Baran is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Baran gets on the inside and crashes a spiteful left uppercut to Afinogenov's body.  IT LOOKS LIKE AFINOGENOV WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Baran is looking to put the pressure on now...he knows a few clean shots could mean an early night.  Baran lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND KNOCKS AFINOGENOV DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  
Baran closes the distance.  Baran lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body, AND AFINOGENOV IS DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  
Afinogenov is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Baran lands two straights followed by a jab to his opponents head.  It looks like Afinogenov has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.
