Ximen Crisostomo vs Manuel Ramos

Boxing Daily Report from the Eghigian Promotions promoted show at Medellin Briseno, Medellin,  taking place on 15/08/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Colombia Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on CARACOL, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Ximen Crisostomo (16 - 7(2) - 2) who hails from Bogota, Colombia and Manuel Ramos(28(7) - 2 - 1) from Bello, Colombia.  Both Crisostomo and Ramos weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Vidal Lopez, and the three ringside judges are Pancho Toribio, Fausto Sastre and Alejandro Rayo.  

Round 1: 

Crisostomo steps away from his opponent and throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Ramos digs in a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  Ramos holds on to his opponent.  Ramos leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Ramos's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Ramos manages to force Crisostomo onto the ropes.  Crisostomo throws a right hook, but Ramos holds on to his opponent.  Ramos is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Ramos.  
Ramos lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Ramos gets on the inside.  Crisostomo hits home with a left hook.  Ramos ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Crisostomo pushes his forearm into Ramos's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Crisostomo.  
Ramos lands a left hook to the head, a right uppercut to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Ramos lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Crisostomo is on target with a right hook.  
Ramos hits home with a solid left uppercut.  
Ramos cuts off the ring, trapping Crisostomo in a corner.  Ramos pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Ramos lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Ramos lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Ramos clinches his opponent.  Crisostomo is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Crisostomo to stop fouling.

Ramos pivots to the right of his opponent.  Ramos slams a mean right hook into his opponents body.  CRISOSTOMO IS HURT!  Ramos ties up his opponent.  Ramos leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  Crisostomo almost instantly recovers. 
Ramos lands two consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head.  
Ramos lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Crisostomo hits the target with a solid jab.  
Ramos steps inside and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Crisostomo switches the action to the outside and lands a jab.  
Ramos gets on the inside.  Crisostomo throws a left uppercut, but Ramos clinches his opponent.  Ramos tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Crisostomo's kidney. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Ramos to stop fouling.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Crisostomo's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Crisostomo is looking to keep his distance and hits home with an overhand right.
