Xaver Melchor vs Diego Batres

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Boxing promoted show at Sofi Stadium, Los Angeles,  taking place on 08/08/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fox Sports, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Xaver Melchor (7(6) - 1) who hails from Caracas, Venezuela and Diego Batres(7(2) - 2 - 1) from Granada, Spain.  Both Melchor and Batres weighed in at 118 pounds.
