Zhu Ghakupow vs Asif Abboud

Boxing Daily Report from the Plunder Boxing promoted show at Putra Indoor Stadium, Kuala Lumpur,  taking place on 01/08/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Zhu Ghakupow (9(8) - 0) who hails from Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia and Asif Abboud(16 - 7(1) - 4) from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.  Both Ghakupow and Abboud weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Adam Lew, and the three ringside judges are Jawad Baten, Ibrahim Mohammed and Adnan Wasti.  

Round 1: 

Ghakupow lands a sharp cross to his opponents body.  
Ghakupow gets on the inside and throws a left hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Ghakupow clinches his opponent.  Ghakupow is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Abboud is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Abboud quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Ghakupow is on target with a cross.  
Ghakupow hits the target with a sharp jab.  
Ghakupow steps inside and is on target with a right hook to Abboud's ribcage.  Ghakupow ties up his opponent.  Ghakupow leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. As they grapple, Ghakupow pushes his forearm into Abboud's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Ghakupow to stop fouling.

Ghakupow steps inside and drives a solid left hook into Abboud's ribs.  
Ghakupow digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Abboud tries to step out of his opponents range.  Ghakupow feints a jab and triggers a right uppercut counter from Abboud.  Ghakupow springs the trap, countering with  a left uppercut.

Ghakupow closes the distance.  Ghakupow digs in a left hook to Abboud's body.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Abboud has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Ghakupow pivots to the side of his opponent and lands with a ramrod jab.  
Ghakupow gets on the inside and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Ghakupow is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the head followed by two left hook's to the body.  
Abboud steps away from his opponent.  Ghakupow feints a cross, and then lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Abboud steps to the outside.  Ghakupow quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a cross to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Ghakupow pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Ghakupow gets on the inside.  Ghakupow sidesteps to the left of his opponent and digs in a left hook to his opponents body.

Abboud steps to the outside and tries to land an overhand left, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging cross.  
Ghakupow advances into close range and is on target with a left hook.  
Ghakupow lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Ghakupow holds on to his opponent.  Ghakupow leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Ghakupow manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Abboud attempts to land a right hook, but Ghakupow parries the shot and counters with a sharp right hook.  
Ghakupow gets on the inside and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!
