Aftab Shaheed vs Yakubu Okoye

Boxing Daily Report from the Adumensa Promotions promoted show at Gareth Babayaro Gym, Maiduguri,  taking place on 01/07/2043:

Clearly Adumensa Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nigeria-Borno State Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Aftab Shaheed (1 - 0) who hails from Maiduguri, Nigeria and Yakubu Okoye(9 - 36(2) - 4) from Maiduguri, Nigeria.  Both Shaheed and Okoye weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ike Ararume, and the three ringside judges are Zain Faraj, Gethin Rotimi and Gethin Rotimi.  

Round 1: 

Shaheed waits at the mid-range with a lowered guard, waiting for his opponent to throw a punch.  Okoye attempts to land a cross, but Shaheed sidesteps and counters with a solid left hook to Okoye's body.
