Azam Khalef vs Zafa Masood

Boxing Daily Report from the Chikane Promotions promoted show at Asif Moustafa Gym, Giza,  taking place on 20/06/2043:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Egypt-Giza Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Azam Khalef (9 - 26(3) - 5) who hails from Giza, Egypt and Zafa Masood(8 - 21(3) - 4) from Giza, Egypt.  Both Khalef and Masood weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Azam Labib, and the three ringside judges are Zuffur Gad, Umair Khaleel and Tariq Samir.  

Round 1: 

Khalef advances into close range.  Masood lands a left hook.  
Khalef closes the distance and throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Khalef dabs at his face checking for damage.  Khalef has taken some damage there.  That has caused minor damage to the nose.
