Michael Weale vs George Gemmel

Boxing Daily Report from the Agyemang Promotions promoted show at Charlotte Lloyd, Charlotte,  taking place on 05/06/2043:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-North Carolina Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Michael Weale (5 - 8 - 3) who hails from Durham, USA and George Gemmel(19 - 12(4) - 5) from Charlotte, USA.  Both Weale and Gemmel weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Danny Egerton, and the three ringside judges are Stephen Armstrong, Richard Davies and Owen Johns.  

Round 1: 

Gemmel manages to force Weale into the corner.  Gemmel feints a left hook, and then attempts to land a jab, but Weale blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Weale is looking to close the distance.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Weale dabs at his face checking for damage.
