Xin Guan vs Nick Xin

Boxing Daily Report from the Plunder Boxing promoted show at KLCC Exhibition Hall, Kuala Lumpur,  taking place on 25/05/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Xin Guan (5(1) - 0) who hails from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Nick Xin(5 - 24(2) - 5) from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.  Guan weighed in at 129 pounds and 15 ounces, while Xin weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Azam Asmar, and the three ringside judges are Haider Amir, Jawad Baten and Ali Aslam.  

Round 1: 

Guan closes the distance and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.

Guan closes the distance.  Xin throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a solid right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.

Guan is looking to close the distance.  Xin throws a left uppercut, but Guan clinches his opponent.  Guan pushes his forearm into Xin's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Guan to stop fouling.

Guan gets on the inside and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Guan lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Guan quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a stinging jab.

Xin is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Guan is on target with a sharp jab.  
Guan steps inside and cuts off the ring, trapping Xin on the ropes.  Guan digs in a firm right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Guan tries to land a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.

Guan is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Guan tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Xin's kidney. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Guan about fouling.
