Bronco Ahumada vs Vegas Naranjo

Boxing Daily Report from the Habe Promotions promoted show at Quito Ines, Quito,  taking place on 13/05/2043:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ecuador Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Bronco Ahumada (17 - 25(3) - 4) who hails from Guayaquil, Ecuador and Vegas Naranjo(7 - 6(1) - 2) from Quito, Ecuador.  Ahumada weighed in at 121 pounds and 2 ounces, while Naranjo weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Leonel Armenta, and the three ringside judges are Eloy Quesada, Cris Lainez and Manuel Moralez.  

Round 1: 

Ahumada leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Naranjo accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Ahumada.  Naranjo hits home with a cross.  
Ahumada switches the action to the outside.  Naranjo lands a cross.  
Naranjo is looking to close the distance.  Naranjo goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref ignores Ahumada's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Ahumada's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Ahumada's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Naranjo's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.

As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Ahumada dabs at his face checking for damage.  Ahumada has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
