Sam Tackett vs Gethin Freebairn

Boxing Daily Report from the GOAT Promotions promoted show at Greeley Rusk, Greeley,  taking place on 06/05/2043:

Clearly GOAT Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Mountain West Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sam Tackett (25 - 20(2) - 6) who hails from Boulder, USA and Gethin Freebairn(11 - 12 - 3) from Anchorage, USA.  Both Tackett and Freebairn weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joshua Davie, and the three ringside judges are Paul Pollick, Mike Allender and Spencer Binnie.  

Round 1: 

Tackett connects with a cross.  
Tackett advances into close range.  Tackett quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Tackett.  That has caused slight damage to the nose.
