Tom Johnston vs Franco Salmeron

Boxing Daily Report from the Ringside Promotions promoted show at Ibrox Stadium, Glasgow,  taking place on 11/04/2043:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the WRBA Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Tom Johnston (51(43) - 3(3)) who hails from Dundee, UK and Franco Salmeron(33(10) - 9(5) - 1) from Carolina, Puerto Rico.  Johnston weighed in at 130 pounds, while Salmeron weighed in at 129 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Martin MacBeth, and the three ringside judges are Peter McAlister, Dennis McClung and David MacInnes.
