Matthew Bonar vs Alejandro Gabaldon

Boxing Daily Report from the Lwandamina Promotions promoted show at Municipal de Bamenda, Bamenda,  taking place on 23/03/2043:

Clearly Lwandamina Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a tournament fight from WRBC Super Bantamweight Ranking Tournament 2042.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on CRTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Matthew Bonar (18(14) - 0) who hails from Nassau, Bahamas and Alejandro Gabaldon(8 - 1(1)) from Maracay, Venezuela.  Both Bonar and Gabaldon weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Raul Truffaut, and the three ringside judges are Tenenan Ngaham, Bayard Dumas and Carolus Mayebi.  

Round 1: 

Bonar steps inside and hits home with a left hook.  
Bonar is on target with a jab to his opponents body.  
Bonar tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Bonar gets on the inside and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Bonar advances into close range and lands a left uppercut to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the body.  Bonar clinches his opponent.  Bonar is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Bonar drives a stinging left uppercut into his opponents body.  Bonar ties up his opponent.  Bonar pushes his forearm into Gabaldon's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Bonar about fouling.  
Gabaldon tries to keep the action at long range and lands with a spiteful jab.  
Gabaldon throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Bonar gets on the inside and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.

Bonar drives a stinging right uppercut into his opponents ribcage.  
Bonar walks Gabaldon down, trapping him in the corner.  Bonar sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Bonar lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Bonar lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Bonar lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.

Gabaldon throws a left hook, but Bonar clinches his opponent.  Bonar is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Gabaldon is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.

Gabaldon hits home with a stinging jab.  Gabaldon now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Bonar is looking to close the distance and digs in a firm right hook to Gabaldon's body.  
Bonar lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Bonar lands a jab to the head, a right hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Gabaldon steps to the outside.  Bonar is really starting to turn up the heat!  He senses a stoppage here. It looks like Gabaldon has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.

Bonar pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a right hook to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Gabaldon could be stopped here, if Bonar can find the right shot!  Bonar lands two right uppercuts to the body, and one to the head, AND SENDS GABALDON SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  The ref does not give Gabaldon the chance to beat the count...The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Bonar!
