Charles Carruth vs Alessandro Corado

Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at Sofi Stadium, Los Angeles,  taking place on 07/02/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Charles Carruth (22(12) - 3 - 1) who hails from Savannah, USA and Alessandro Corado(36 - 22(17)) from Turin, Italy.  Both Carruth and Corado weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Paul Ross, and the three ringside judges are Michael Thomason, Chris Keath and Ponce Ferrera.  

Round 1: 

Carruth drives a solid left uppercut into Corado's body.  
Carruth steps away from his opponent and lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Corado throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm cross.  
Corado walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Carruth lands with a hard jab.  
Corado advances into close range.  Carruth lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  Carruth holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Carruth pushes his forearm into Corado's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Carruth about fouling.  
Carruth lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  Carruth holds on to his opponent.  Carruth leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Carruth's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Carruth switches the action to the outside and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Carruth steps to the outside and lands an overhand left followed by a jab to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Corado quickly recovers. 
Carruth connects with a solid cross.  
Corado advances into close range and manages to force Carruth onto the ropes.  Carruth is on target with a sharp left uppercut to Corado's body.  
Carruth tries to keep the action at long range and lands a sharp jab.  Carruth attempts to land a jab, but Corado slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Carruth lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Carruth lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Carruth lands a jab to the head followed by a cross to the body.  
Corado cuts off the ring, trapping Carruth on the ropes.  Carruth lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a cross to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Carruth lands consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Carruth hits home with a cross.  
Carruth lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Carruth tries to keep the action at long range and lands a sharp cross.  
Carruth feints a right hook, and then is on target with a solid left hook to Corado's body.  
Carruth is looking to keep the action on the outside and is on target with an overhand left.  
Carruth advances into close range.  Corado quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Carruth lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Carruth sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Corado is on target with a cross.  
Carruth steps away from his opponent and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  He then lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Corado almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Carruth digs in a sharp left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
Carruth advances into close range.  Corado throws a right hook, but Carruth holds on to his opponent.  Carruth tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Corado behind the head. 
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Carruth's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Corado's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Corado's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Corado's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Carruth attempts to land a jab, but Corado sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Carruth lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Corado quickly recovers. 
Carruth is looking to keep his distance and lands with a spiteful jab.  
Carruth lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Carruth lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Carruth digs in a left uppercut to Corado's body.  
Carruth throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Carruth tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a solid overhand right.  
Carruth lands a CRUSHING cross.  IT LOOKS LIKE CORADO WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Corado quickly recovers. 
Carruth EXPLODES a spiteful overhand left into his opponents face.  IT LOOKS LIKE CORADO WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Carruth sees his opponent is hurt.  He's looking for the finish!  Carruth lands a cross followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND SENDS CORADO SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He tries to rise on shaky legs but Corado cant beat the count!  The winner by KO is Carruth!
