Goga Gurin vs Marlen Gritsun

Boxing Daily Report from the Ring star promoted show at Yubileyny Sports Palace, Saint Petersburg,  taking place on 03/01/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the Russia-Saint Petersburg Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Goga Gurin (34(22) - 1) who hails from Saint Petersburg, Russia and Marlen Gritsun(26(3) - 10(2) - 4) from Saint Petersburg, Russia.  Both Gurin and Gritsun weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mikhail Zhukanenko, and the three ringside judges are Arseni Fayzulin, Arseni Obst and Zernebog Kabanov.  

Round 1: 

Gurin attempts to land a cross, but Gritsun slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Gritsun lands a left hook.  
Gritsun throws a left uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Gritsun hits home with a right hook.  Gritsun tries to land a right hook, but Gurin parries the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut to Gritsun's liver.  
Gurin lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Gritsun pivots to the right of his opponent.  Gurin lands a right hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Gritsun digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Gritsun sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Gurin hits home with a cross.  
Gurin gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by two left hook's to the head.  
Gurin lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND DOWN GOES GRITSUN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.  
Gurin stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Gurin lands a left uppercut, right hook and a right uppercut to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  It looks like Gritsun has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Gurin drives a stinging left hook into his opponents liver.  
Gurin sidesteps to the left of his opponent and hits home with a right uppercut.  
Gurin attempts to land a left hook, but Gritsun sidesteps and counters with a stinging right uppercut.  
Gurin pivots to the left of his opponent and lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Gurin steps inside.  Gurin quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Gurin steps inside and lands a left uppercut, right uppercut and a left hook to his opponents body.  
Gurin lands a right hook, left hook and a right hook to his opponents body.  
Gurin hits home with a telling cross.  IT LOOKS LIKE GRITSUN WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Gurin knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Gurin lands a double right hook to his opponents head, AND SENDS GRITSUN SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  
Gritsun now seems to have got his legs back.  
Gurin sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a jab.  
Gurin steps inside.  Gurin quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Gritsun hits home with a solid left hook.  
Gritsun throws a right hook, but Gurin holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Gritsun pushes his forearm into Gurin's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Gurin lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Gritsun lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Gritsun's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Gritsun's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Gritsun's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Gurin wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Gritsun dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Gurin gets on the inside.  Gritsun lands a right uppercut to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the body.  
Gritsun attempts to land a left hook, but Gurin slips the shot and counters with a solid right uppercut.  
Gritsun throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a solid cross.  
Gurin advances into close range and crashes a big right uppercut to his opponents body.  GRITSUN WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Gritsun is on target with a cross.  It looks like Gritsun has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Gurin lands consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Gurin lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body, DROPPING GRITSUN TO THE CANVAS!  He tries to rise on shaky legs but Gritsun cant beat the count!  The winner by KO is Gurin!
