Bob Nesmith vs Leon Paxton

Boxing Daily Report from the Kanda Promotions promoted show at Surrey Uren, Surrey,  taking place on 19/11/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Canada-British Columbia Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Bob Nesmith (9 - 11(1) - 2) who hails from Surrey, Canada and Leon Paxton(21 - 24(2) - 4) from Burnaby, Canada.  Both Nesmith and Paxton weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Michael Crosbie, and the three ringside judges are Spencer Clary, Michael Crosbie and Leeroy Maddix.  

Round 1: 

Paxton connects with a right hook.  
Nesmith attempts to land a left hook, but Paxton slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Paxton steps back and leans on the ropes with his guard up.  Nesmith is whaling away with hooks, but Paxton keeps his defence tight.

Nesmith tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right hook.
