James Stenhouse vs Tobias Romans

Boxing Daily Report from the International Boxing Fight League promoted show at IBFL Battleground, Eugene,  taking place on 10/01/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are James Stenhouse (27(16) - 3 - 1) who hails from Nassau, Bahamas and Tobias Romans(8(2) - 10(7)) from Phoenix, USA.  Stenhouse weighed in at 238 pounds and 2 ounces, while Romans weighed in at 227 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is William Terrace, and the three ringside judges are Theo Wight, Peter Roger and Chris Zegarra.  

Round 1:

Stenhouse sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Stenhouse lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Stenhouse tries to land a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Stenhouse lands a spiteful jab.  Stenhouse tries to land a cross, but Romans blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut to Stenhouse's body.  
Romans feints a cross, fooling Stenhouse into throwing a cross counter.  Romans springs the trap and counters with  a left hook.  
Stenhouse lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Stenhouse lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Stenhouse lands a sharp left hook.  
Stenhouse gets on the inside.  Romans throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Romans feints a jab, but Stenhouse ignores the feint and is on target with a right uppercut.  
Stenhouse gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut, right hook and a left hook to his opponents head.  
Stenhouse advances into close range.  Stenhouse pivots to the right of his opponent and connects with a left hook.  
Stenhouse cuts off the ring, trapping Romans on the ropes.  Stenhouse is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribs.  Stenhouse tries to land a left hook, but Romans parries the shot and counters with a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Stenhouse connects with a sharp left uppercut.  
Stenhouse is looking to close the distance.  Stenhouse sidesteps to the right of his opponent and hits home with a right hook.  
Romans hits home with a cross.  Romans tries to land a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a sharp right hook.

Stenhouse gets on the inside and throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Romans's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Romans's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Romans hits home with a spiteful jab.  
Romans switches the action to the outside.  Romans sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Stenhouse lands a right uppercut followed by a jab to his opponents head.

He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut, cross and a left hook to his opponents head, AND DROPS ROMANS TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 5.  It looks like Romans has now recovered from that shot earlier.

Stenhouse closes the distance.  Stenhouse pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Romans throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Stenhouse lands a jab, cross and a left uppercut to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Romans almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Stenhouse tries to step out of his opponents range and hits home with a hard jab.

Romans retreats back to the ropes, and waits for his opponent to attack.  Stenhouse tries to tag Romans on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!  Stenhouse is on target with a solid left uppercut to his opponents body.

Stenhouse steps away from his opponent and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Stenhouse advances into close range.  Stenhouse sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Romans quickly recovers. 
Stenhouse pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a cross.  
Romans hits the target with a sharp jab.  
Romans switches the action to the outside.  Stenhouse feints a jab, tricking Romans into throwing a cross counter.  Stenhouse springs the trap, countering with  a right hook.  
Stenhouse advances into close range and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Stenhouse knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Stenhouse connects with a BRUTAL left uppercut.  ROMANS IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 8.  He holds his fists up but stumbles into the referee! Romans doesn't look like he's recovered at all.  The ref seems to thinks so as well...he's signalling that the fight is over!  The winner by TKO is Stenhouse!
