Zhong Ye vs Lee Li

Boxing Daily Report from the MBO promoted show at Shanghai Kwong, Shanghai,  taking place on 22/10/2042:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the China-Shanghai Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Zhong Ye (4 - 1 - 1) who hails from Shanghai, China and Lee Li(4 - 0) from Shanghai, China.  Both Ye and Li weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Quon Pen, and the three ringside judges are Yong Bok, Hui-chao Auyong and Li-Liang Tang.  

Round 1: 

Li hits home with a cross.  
Ye is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  Ye attempts to land a jab, but Li slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Li pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.

Li voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Ye accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Li.
