Henry Ward vs Peter Weir

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Alabama promoted show at Tuscaloosa Sandison, Tuscaloosa,  taking place on 03/10/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Alabama Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Henry Ward (16 - 26(4) - 4) who hails from Huntsville, USA and Peter Weir(26(1) - 18(11) - 1) from Hoover, USA.  Both Ward and Weir weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Owen Leckie, and the three ringside judges are Zachary Caffrey, Jonathan Reid and Jonathan Dunn.  

Round 1: 

Weir advances into close range.  Weir quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Ward attempts to land a left hook, but Weir sidesteps and counters with a sharp cross.
