Charles Leiper vs Otto Helin

Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at Rogers Center, Toronto,  taking place on 19/11/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Slim Charles Leiper (57(50) - 5(3)) who hails from Saskatoon, Canada and Otto Helin(32(16) - 17(9) - 1) from Stockholm, Sweden.  Both Leiper and Helin weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Michael Nickson, and the three ringside judges are Michael Nickson, Ewan Lavanchy and Louis Brockett.  

Round 1: 

Helin advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Leiper steps away from his opponent.  Helin lands a cross.  
Helin lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Leiper lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Leiper feints a right hook, but Helin is not fooled and responds with a solid cross.  
Leiper lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Helin tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a sharp cross.  
Helin advances into close range and digs in a left hook to Leiper's ribs.  
Helin attempts to land a right hook, but Leiper sidesteps and counters with a solid left hook.  
Helin is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  Helin attempts to land a left hook, but Leiper parries the shot and counters with a left hook to Helin's ribs.

The right shot from Leiper could be enough to force the stoppage!  Leiper lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands three consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents body, AND HELIN IS DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  Helin now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Helin pivots to the left of his opponent.  Helin is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  Helin tries to land a jab, but Leiper slips the shot and counters with a stinging right uppercut.  
Helin connects with a sharp cross.  Helin tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a SAVAGE left hook.  HELIN IS HURT!  Helin quickly recovers. 
Helin is on target with a jab.  
Helin throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a VICIOUS left uppercut.  HELIN HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He manages to get up at 4.  
Helin pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a straight 1 - 2.  He continues the combination and lands a cross to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Helin gets on the inside and hits home with a left uppercut.  
Helin advances into close range.  Leiper lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Leiper is looking to keep his distance.  Helin lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Helin throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm right hook.  
Helin walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Helin pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a jab.

Helin sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Leiper throws a left hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Leiper holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Helin pushes his forearm into Leiper's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Helin.  
Leiper switches the action to the outside and lands an overhand right, jab and a cross to his opponents head.  
Helin finds the target with a jab.  
Leiper finds the target with a hard jab.  
Helin steps inside and walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Leiper lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  Leiper attempts to land a left hook, but Helin slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Leiper is looking to keep his distance and lands an overhand right, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
Helin steps inside.  Helin pivots to the right of his opponent.  Helin tries to land a left uppercut, but Leiper slips the shot and counters with a stinging left hook to Helin's ribs.  HELIN IS HURT!

Leiper lands consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents body, AND HELIN IS DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  It looks like Helin has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.
