Boxing Daily Report from the AI Venezuela-Zulia promoted show at Del Lago Hotel, Maracaibo,  taking place on 17/09/2042:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Venezuela Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Meridiano TV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Ulises Varas (35(27) - 13(8)) who hails from Ciudad Bolivar, Venezuela and Loredo Veloz(26 - 1) from Maracaibo, Venezuela.  Both Varas and Veloz weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Diego Mato, and the three ringside judges are Juan Sanchez, Xalvador Bolanos and Ricardo Pupo.  

Round 1: 

Varas pivots from in front of his opponent and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.

Veloz advances into close range.  Varas knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Varas lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head, AND DROPS VELOZ TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 4.  It looks like Veloz has now recovered from that shot earlier.  
Veloz tries to land a left uppercut, but Varas sidesteps and counters with a mean right uppercut.  IT LOOKS LIKE VELOZ WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Varas senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Veloz and just needs the right shot.  Varas lands a MASSIVE left hook.  VELOZ IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  HE IS UNABLE TO GET UP BEFORE THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Varas!
