Jair Melgarejo vs Ricardo Valdez

Boxing Daily Report from the Top Shelf Prospects promoted show at Estadio Sud, Rosario,  taking place on 13/08/2042:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are El Mago Jair Melgarejo (1 - 0) who hails from Ponce, Puerto Rico and Ricardo Valdez(4 - 4) from Córdoba, Argentina.  Both Melgarejo and Valdez weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ricardo Mesa, and the three ringside judges are Manny Mathe, Joaquin Arena and Reynaldo Urbano.  

Round 1: 

Melgarejo hits the target with a ramrod jab.
