Sam Coupland vs Obaid Akhtar

Boxing Daily Report from the Ringside Promotions promoted show at Manchester Arena, Manchester,  taking place on 06/09/2042:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Commonwealth Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Sam Coupland (60(33) - 9(4)) who hails from Middlesbrough, UK and Obaid OBEY Akhtar(46(30) - 4) from Adelaide, Australia.  Both Coupland and Akhtar weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Zain Salam, and the three ringside judges are William Taylor, Ewan Goodlet and Scott Dunn.
