Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Boxing promoted show at Newlands Cricket Ground, Cape Town,  taking place on 02/08/2042:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SABC1, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Jay Boakye (9(8) - 0 - 1) who hails from Takoradi, Ghana and Ahmed Hai(10(1) - 2(1) - 1) from Alexandria, Egypt.  Both Boakye and Hai weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Runako Mashaba, and the three ringside judges are Oringo Arthur, Madisha Mini and Kasi Hlatshwayo.  

Round 1:

Boakye switches the action to the outside and connects with a firm cross.  
Boakye hits home with a firm overhand left.

Hai closes the distance.  Boakye lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Hai quickly recovers.

Boakye steps to the outside.  Hai sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Boakye lands a firm cross.  Boakye throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut to Boakye's ribs.  
Boakye is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  He then lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Boakye clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Boakye pushes his forearm into Hai's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.

Hai advances into close range and lands a right hook.  
Boakye throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook to Boakye's ribs.  
Hai attempts to land a left hook, but Boakye parries the shot and counters with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Boakye lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Boakye steps away from his opponent.  Hai could be stopped here, if Boakye can find the right shot!  Boakye connects with a HUGE right hook.  DOWN GOES HAI!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  Hai now seems to have got his legs back.  
Hai hits home with an overhand right.  
Hai lands a cross.  
Hai steps inside and walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Boakye lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Boakye lands a right hook followed by  two left hooks to his opponents body, AND KNOCKS HAI DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  
Boakye throws a right uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Boakye is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Hai hits home with a cross.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Boakye's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Hai's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Hai advances into close range and walks Boakye down, trapping him on the ropes.  Boakye tries to land a left hook, but Hai blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Boakye is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  He then lands a cross, jab and a cross to his opponents head.
