Diego Baro vs Venacio Amescua

Boxing Daily Report from the Bungu Promotions promoted show at Nuevo Laredo Torralba, Nuevo Laredo,  taking place on 26/06/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Tamaulipas Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Diego Baro (12 - 14 - 7) who hails from Ciudad Victoria, Mexico and Venacio Amescua(26(3) - 4(2) - 1) from Matamoros, Mexico.  Both Baro and Amescua weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Xavier Alverez, and the three ringside judges are Selestino Berlanga, Santiago Badia and Santiago Badia.  

Round 1: 

Baro pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a cross.  
Amescua is on target with a firm left hook to Baro's body.  
Amescua walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Amescua hits home with a solid right hook.  
Amescua lands a right uppercut.  
Amescua lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Baro feints a cross, fooling Amescua into throwing a cross counter.  Baro avoids the shot and counters with a cross.  
Amescua is on target with a cross.  
Amescua lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Amescua lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Amescua forces Baro to retreat into the corner.  Amescua hits home with a firm left hook.  
Amescua lands a sharp right uppercut.  Amescua holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Amescua pushes his forearm into Baro's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Amescua to stop fouling.  
Amescua pivots to the side of his opponent and digs in a solid right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Amescua connects with a right hook.  
Amescua connects with a stinging right hook.  
Amescua advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Amescua lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Baro's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Baro's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate. Baro attempts to land a left hook, but Amescua slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Amescua is on target with a stinging left hook to his opponents ribs.  BARO WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Baro almost instantly recovers. 
Baro tries to keep the action at long range.  Amescua tries to land a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Amescua steps inside and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Amescua knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Amescua lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND BARO IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  
Amescua lands a right uppercut, left uppercut and a left hook to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook, right uppercut and a left hook to his opponents body.  
It looks like Baro has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Amescua is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Baro is looking to keep his distance.  Amescua stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Amescua lands a left hook to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  He then lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head, DROPPING BARO TO THE CANVAS!  The ref does not even bother with the count...he's seen enough!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Amescua!
