Zafa Masood vs Azam Rassul

Boxing Daily Report from the Chikane Promotions promoted show at Aftab Ansari Gym, Giza,  taking place on 20/06/2042:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Egypt-Giza Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Zafa Masood (8 - 20(3) - 4) who hails from Giza, Egypt and Azam Rassul(14 - 19 - 5) from Giza, Egypt.  Both Masood and Rassul weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rehman Islam, and the three ringside judges are Asif Eborolossy, Irfan Youssef and Tariq Samir.  

Round 1: 

Masood is looking to keep his distance.  Rassul connects with a cross.  
Rassul hits home with a left hook.

Masood sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Rassul connects with a cross.  
Rassul lands a left hook to the body followed by two right hook's to the head.  
Masood switches the action to the outside.  Rassul tries to land an overhand left, but Masood blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.

Rassul closes the distance and lands a left hook.  Rassul ties up his opponent.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Masood steps away from his opponent.  Rassul attempts to land an overhand left, but Masood blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Rassul gets on the inside.  Rassul goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action and gives Masood time to recover.

The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Rassul dabs at his face checking for damage.
