James Doig vs Carolus Belmondo

Boxing Daily Report from the Asamoah Promotions promoted show at Telo Latham Gym, Montreal,  taking place on 17/06/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Canada-Quebec Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are James Doig (3 - 3 - 3) who hails from Quebec City, Canada and Carolus Belmondo(27 - 9(6) - 1) from Montreal, Canada.  Both Doig and Belmondo weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Cable Halimi, and the three ringside judges are Bruce Hathorne, Granger Hinault and Henry Popkin.  

Round 1: 

Belmondo steps back and leans on the ropes with his guard up.  Doig throws a right hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Doig steps to the outside.  Belmondo throws an overhand left, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Belmondo advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.
