Frank Scott vs Colin Kimmons

Boxing Daily Report from the Plunder Boxing promoted show at SSE Hydro, Glasgow,  taking place on 05/07/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Celtic Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Frank Scott (20(5) - 11(4) - 1) who hails from Aberdeen, UK and Colin Kimmons(19(9) - 4) from Cardiff, UK.  Both Scott and Kimmons weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Adam Blair, and the three ringside judges are David McClarnon, David Hall and Patrick Gauld.  

Round 1: 

Scott is on target with a left hook.  Kimmons holds on to his opponent.  Kimmons pushes his forearm into Scott's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Kimmons about fouling.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Kimmons has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused bad swelling  around the right eye.  Scott recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Kimmons advances into close range and forces Scott to retreat into the corner.  Scott attempts to land a left uppercut, but Kimmons dodges the shot and counters with a firm cross.
