Sammy McTier vs Jake McBride

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Irish Club, Brisbane,  taking place on 14/06/2042:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Australia-Queensland Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sammy McTier (12(2) - 9(2)) who hails from Brisbane, Australia and Jake McBride(13 - 8(5) - 1) from Brisbane, Australia.  Both McTier and McBride weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is James Westwood, and the three ringside judges are Mark Lockie, Dan Nish and Robert Reekie.  

Round 1: 

McTier advances into close range and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
McTier hits home with a hard jab.  
McTier hits home with a solid cross.  
McTier steps inside.  McTier lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as McBride dabs at his face checking for damage.

McTier quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and connects with a left hook.

McTier cuts off the ring, trapping McBride in a corner.  McTier lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
McBride steps to the outside.  McTier lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
McTier gets on the inside and digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
McTier lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
McTier manouvers his opponent into the corner.  McBride throws a right uppercut, but McTier clinches his opponent.  McTier is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
