Gregor Mumo vs Arthur Mbiti

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Nairobi promoted show at Nairobi Iria, Nairobi,  taking place on 28/05/2042:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kenya-Nairobi Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gregor Mumo (23 - 22 - 5) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and Arthur Mbiti(5 - 7 - 4) from Nairobi, Kenya.  Mumo weighed in at 118 pounds and 9 ounces, while Mbiti weighed in at 118 pounds.    As Mumo came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Chris Birir, and the three ringside judges are Luister Mutahi, Rashid Salih and Kyrone Koimbori.

Mumo gets on the inside.  Mumo pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Mbiti steps away from his opponent and connects with an overhand right.  
Mbiti pivots to the right of his opponent.  Mumo lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Mumo connects with a right hook.  Mumo attempts to land a right hook, but Mbiti blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Mumo's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Mbiti's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Mumo is looking to close the distance and manouvers his opponent into the blue corner.  Mumo lands a right uppercut.

Mumo manouvers Mbiti onto the ropes.  Mumo lands a right hook.  
Mbiti tries to step out of his opponents range.  Mumo is on target with a cross.  
Mumo closes the distance.  Mbiti is on target with a left hook.  
Mumo gets on the inside.  Mbiti is on target with a left hook.  Mumo holds on to his opponent.  Mumo pushes his forearm into Mbiti's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
