Ricky Brydon vs Paul Heggins

Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at Stub Hub Center (Football), Los Angeles,  taking place on 31/05/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ricky Brydon (25(20) - 0) who hails from Boise, USA and Paul Heggins(1(1) - 0) from Greensboro, USA.  Both Brydon and Heggins weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Obaid Abdelnour, and the three ringside judges are David Ness, Rob Prichard and John Summerfield.  

Round 1: 

Heggins throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm cross.  
Brydon lands a cross to the head followed by a left hook to the body.

Brydon is on target with a weighty cross.  IT LOOKS LIKE HEGGINS WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Heggins almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Brydon lands a cross to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Brydon tries to keep the action at long range and hits home with a stinging cross.  
Heggins manouvers Brydon onto the ropes.  Brydon snaps his opponents head back with a solid jab.  
Heggins attempts to land a jab, but Brydon sidesteps and counters with a sharp right hook.  
Brydon advances into close range and throws a left hook, but misses the target.  Brydon ties up his opponent.  Heggins uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Brydon behind the head. The referee warns Heggins and breaks the clinch.  
Brydon steps away from his opponent and tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Brydon stalks forward with a low guard, trying to draw a lead from his opponent.  Heggins attempts to land a right hook, but Brydon slips the shot and counters with a firm cross.  
Brydon is looking to close the distance.  Heggins throws a right hook, but Brydon holds on to his opponent.  Brydon is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Brydon.  
Brydon lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Brydon lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Brydon attempts to land a cross, but Heggins sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  Heggins quickly recovers.

Heggins forces Brydon to back into the ropes.  Brydon SLAMS a WICKED cross into his opponents face.  IT LOOKS LIKE HEGGINS WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Brydon tries to step out of his opponents range.  Brydon senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Heggins and just needs the right shot.  Brydon lands a left hook followed by  two right uppercuts to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a right uppercut to the head.  The winner by KO is Brydon!
