Haaris Awan vs Kashif Zaher

Boxing Daily Report from the Hands Promotions promoted show at Japan National Stadium, Tokyo,  taking place on 14/06/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Asia-Oceania Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Haaris Awan (62(41) - 9(5) - 1) who hails from Fukuoka, Japan and Kashif Zaher(24(2) - 10(1) - 1) from Ipoh, Malaysia.  Both Awan and Zaher weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Yuji Mihara, and the three ringside judges are Isamu Shibuya, Michi Uyehara and Kenji Okuda.  

Round 1: 

Zaher tries to keep the action at long range.  Awan throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.

Zaher steps inside and throws a left uppercut, but Awan holds on to his opponent.  Zaher leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Awan's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Zaher steps inside and forces Awan to retreat onto the ropes.  Zaher lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.

Awan retreats back to the ropes, and waits for his opponent to attack.  Zaher tries to tag Awan on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!  Zaher is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Awan tries to keep the action at long range and connects with a stinging overhand right.  
Zaher closes the distance and lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.
