Clint Craddock vs Noel Paekau

Boxing Daily Report from the FightArama promoted show at Cowles Stadium, Christchurch,  taking place on 16/05/2042:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Clint Craddock (9(4) - 7) who hails from North Shore, New Zealand and Noel Paekau(16(1) - 6) from Wellington, New Zealand.  Craddock weighed in at 153 pounds And 14 ounces, while Paekau weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Clint Cattell, and the three ringside judges are Tobias Vert, Mike Muncie and Gareth Young.  

Round 1: 

Paekau connects with a stinging left hook.  
Paekau tries to land a jab, but Craddock sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Paekau lands a right uppercut.  
Craddock lands with a hard jab.  
Paekau tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid left uppercut.  
Craddock feints a left hook, and then hits home with a sharp cross.  
Craddock lands two jabs followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Craddock steps to the outside and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Craddock gets on the inside.  Craddock quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Paekau almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Craddock hits home with a firm cross.

Paekau sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Craddock hits home with a solid cross.  
Craddock tries to keep the action at long range and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.

Craddock tries to step out of his opponents range.  Paekau throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Craddock lands two straights followed by an overhand right to his opponents head.

Paekau steps inside.  Craddock drives a stinging right uppercut into his opponents body.  
Paekau throws a jab, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a sharp left hook.  
Craddock lands a straight 1 - 2.  He follows up the attack and lands two straights followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Craddock lands an overhand right, cross and an overhand left to his opponents head.  
Craddock is on target with a stinging right hook.  Craddock holds on to his opponent.  Craddock pushes his forearm into Paekau's face.  The ref breaks Craddock's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Craddock steps to the outside and hits home with a solid cross.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Paekau's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Paekau's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Paekau's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Craddock tries to keep the action at long range.  Paekau tries to land an overhand right, but Craddock dodges the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Craddock switches the action to the outside and is on target with a cross.  
Craddock steps inside and lands a right uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the head.  Craddock clinches his opponent.  Paekau is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Craddock pushes his forearm into Paekau's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Craddock about fouling.

Paekau is looking to close the distance.  Craddock lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Craddock lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  He then lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Craddock lands a sharp overhand right.

Paekau is looking to close the distance and manouvers Craddock onto the ropes.  Paekau throws a left hook, but Craddock clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Craddock pushes his forearm into Paekau's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Paekau throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a HUGE right uppercut.  PAEKAU WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Paekau recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Paekau throws a cross, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a sharp right hook to Paekau's body.
