Macario Severo vs Juan Chan

Boxing Daily Report from the Punch Drunk Promotions promoted show at Bellagio Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas,  taking place on 17/05/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Macario Severo (16(13) - 2) who hails from Bayamon, Puerto Rico and Juan Chan(28(3) - 5(1)) from Recife, Brazil.  Severo weighed in at 118 pounds, while Chan weighed in at 117 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Ellis Slight, and the three ringside judges are Alec Rees, Danny Doctor and Ollie Latta.  

Round 1: 

Chan advances into close range.  Severo pivots to the side of his opponent.  Severo attempts to land a right hook, but Chan slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
Chan closes the distance and lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  Severo ties up his opponent.  Chan is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Chan to stop fouling.  
Severo is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Severo lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Chan is looking to close the distance and manouvers Severo onto the ropes.  Severo is on target with a right hook to Chan's body.  Severo ties up his opponent.  Severo pushes his forearm into Chan's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Chan connects with an overhand right.  
Severo strikes his opponents body with a solid jab.  Severo tries to land a jab, but Chan sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Chan gets on the inside.  Severo throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref ignores Chan's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Severo tries to step out of his opponents range and lands with a spiteful jab.  
Severo feints a jab, and then lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Chan recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Chan throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
Severo lands a jab to the head, a left hook to the body and a right uppercut to the body.  
Chan closes the distance.  Severo drives a sharp left hook into Chan's ribs.

Chan is looking to close the distance and walks Severo down, trapping him on the ropes.  Chan lands a right uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Chan advances into close range and attempts to land a left uppercut, but Severo slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Severo steps away from his opponent.  Severo is looking to put the pressure on now...he knows a few clean shots could mean an early night.  Severo lands a left hook to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a cross to the head, AND CHAN IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 9.  It looks like Chan has now recovered from that shot earlier.

Severo steps away from his opponent and is on target with an overhand right.
