Kyland Piel vs Ferde Kronebusch

Boxing Daily Report from the HONEYPUNCH promoted show at GETEC Arena, Dresden,  taking place on 10/05/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Germany Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky Sport Deutschland, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Kyland Piel (42(38) - 6(3) - 1) who hails from Lubeck, Germany and Ferde Kronebusch(17(2) - 2(2) - 2) from Bremen, Germany.  Both Piel and Kronebusch weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Klaus Hentze, and the three ringside judges are Emo Abrell, Adelhard Hellmann and Hobbard Schreiber.  

Round 1: 

Piel gets on the inside and throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Piel lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  Piel clinches his opponent.  Piel is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Kronebusch sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Kronebusch throws a right hook, but Piel clinches his opponent.  Piel is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Piel to stop fouling.  
Piel cuts off the ring, trapping Kronebusch on the ropes.  Piel quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Kronebusch tries to land a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Kronebusch tries to land a left hook, but Piel sidesteps and counters with a solid cross.  
Piel lands two left hook's to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Kronebusch dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Piel lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Piel ties up his opponent.  Piel is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Kronebusch is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Kronebusch about fouling.  
Kronebusch tries to keep the action at long range.  Piel feints a cross, and then lands a firm overhand right.  
Piel advances into close range and lands a right hook.  
Piel sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Piel drives a right hook into his opponents body.  Piel tries to land a left uppercut, but Kronebusch blocks the shot and counters with a stinging cross.  
Piel lands a stinging left hook.  
Piel connects with a CRUSHING right hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE KRONEBUSCH WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Kronebusch quickly recovers. 
Piel connects with a firm right hook.  
Piel digs in a stinging left hook to Kronebusch's liver.  
Piel is looking to close the distance.  Piel sidesteps to the left of his opponent and digs in a left hook to Kronebusch's body.  
Piel steps inside.  Piel sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Piel lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the body.  
Kronebusch switches the action to the outside and is on target with a jab.  
Piel closes the distance and walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Piel drives a right uppercut into Kronebusch's body.

Kronebusch tries to keep the action at long range.  Piel feints a cross, but Kronebusch does not fall for it and is on target with a solid right uppercut.

Piel gets on the inside and hits home with a firm right hook.  Piel ties up his opponent.  Piel leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Piel's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Piel pivots to the side of his opponent and lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents head.

Piel feints a left, and then throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Piel digs in a firm left uppercut to Kronebusch's liver.  
Kronebusch attempts to land a left hook, but Piel sidesteps and counters with a firm left hook.  
Piel steps inside.  Piel pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Kronebusch recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Piel walks Kronebusch onto the ropes.  Piel lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Some sustained pressure from Piel could be enough to finish Kronebusch!  Piel EXPLODES a HUGE left hook into his opponents face.  KRONEBUSCH IS DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 6.  Kronebusch now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Kronebusch's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.
