Zuffur Mahdavi vs John Lay

Boxing Daily Report from the Plunder Boxing promoted show at Stadium Negara, Kuala Lumpur,  taking place on 17/05/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Commonwealth Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Astro Arena, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Zuffur Mahdavi (9(6) - 0 - 1) who hails from Petaling Jaya, Malaysia and John Lay(36(13) - 26(24) - 1) from Perth, Australia.  Mahdavi weighed in at 112 pounds, while Lay weighed in at 112 pounds and 9 ounces.    As Lay came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the titles on the line tonight.
