Haaris Maarouf vs Quashawn Adamafio

Boxing Daily Report from the Ringside Promotions promoted show at Cessna Stadium, Wichita,  taking place on 02/05/2042:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the WRBO Intercontinental Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Haaris Maarouf (19(17) - 0) who hails from Dammam, Saudi Arabia and Quashawn Adamafio(32(2) - 21(15) - 1) from Tembisa, South Africa.  Both Maarouf and Adamafio weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is James Polson, and the three ringside judges are Arthur Trumble, Duncan Buyers and Dominic Galloway.  

Round 1: 

Maarouf lands two jabs followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Maarouf is looking to close the distance and lands a double left hook to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS ADAMAFIO DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  Adamafio almost instantly gets his legs back.

Maarouf attempts to land a jab, but Adamafio sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Maarouf steps inside.  Maarouf pivots from in front of his opponent and lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Adamafio recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Adamafio digs in a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Maarouf dabs at his face checking for damage.

Maarouf closes the distance.  Maarouf pivots to the left of his opponent and crashes a mean left uppercut to his opponents body.  IT LOOKS LIKE ADAMAFIO WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Adamafio recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Some sustained pressure from Maarouf could be enough to finish Adamafio!  Maarouf lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook, left uppercut and a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND ADAMAFIO IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  It looks like Adamafio has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.
