Huibert Lavet vs Colin MacGowan

Boxing Daily Report from the Plunder Boxing promoted show at Plunder Gym, Glasgow,  taking place on 01/04/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Huibert Lavet (3 - 0) who hails from Antwerp, Belgium and Colin MacGowan(3 - 27 - 2) from London, UK.  Both Lavet and MacGowan weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Charlie MacNeal, and the three ringside judges are Thomas Ryan, Peter MacLaughlin and David MacInnes.  

Round 1: 

Lavet lowers his hands, trying to provoke his opponent to attack.  MacGowan lands a left hook.  
Lavet is looking to close the distance.  MacGowan tries to land a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a sharp right uppercut.  
MacGowan throws a right uppercut, but Lavet holds on to his opponent.  Lavet tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits MacGowan's kidney. The referee warns Lavet and breaks the clinch.  
Lavet throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
MacGowan steps inside and attempts to land a right hook, but Lavet sidesteps and counters with a firm right hook to MacGowan's ribs.  
MacGowan manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Lavet connects with a stinging cross.  Lavet throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives MacGowan time to recover.  
Lavet throws a left uppercut, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Lavet ties up his opponent.  Lavet is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
MacGowan is keeping his hands low...it looks like he wants his opponent to throw first.  Lavet finds the target with a spiteful jab.  Lavet tries to land a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left hook.  
MacGowan steps inside.  Lavet lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Lavet pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a firm left hook.  
Lavet is looking to close the distance.  Lavet pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
MacGowan throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp right hook.  
Lavet closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Lavet walks his opponent down, trapping him in a corner.  Lavet quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Lavet lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Lavet ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Lavet pushes his forearm into MacGowan's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Lavet about fouling.  
Lavet lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Lavet lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents head.  Lavet holds on to his opponent.  Lavet leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Lavet gets on the inside and is on target with a left hook to MacGowan's body.  
Lavet tries to keep the action at long range and lands with a spiteful jab.  
Lavet closes the distance and connects with a sharp right hook.  
Lavet pivots to the right of his opponent and connects with a cross.  
Lavet steps to the outside and finds the target with a ramrod jab.
