James Ferry vs John Dyer

Boxing Daily Report from the Najjemba Promotions promoted show at Paul Jones Gym, Charlotte,  taking place on 04/04/2042:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-North Carolina Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are James Ferry (6 - 25 - 2) who hails from Raleigh, USA and John Dyer(7 - 1) from Raleigh, USA.  Both Ferry and Dyer weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jack Cameron, and the three ringside judges are Danny Egerton, Dan Creelman and Stephen Armstrong.  

Round 1: 

Dyer steps inside.  Dyer sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right uppercut followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body.  
Dyer lands a left uppercut to the head, a left hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Dyer lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Dyer lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Dyer lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Dyer is looking to keep the action on the outside and attempts to land a jab, but Ferry sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Dyer pivots to the left of his opponent and connects with a left hook.  
Dyer lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Dyer walks Ferry down, trapping him in the corner.  Dyer lands a left hook.  
Dyer connects with a right uppercut.  
Ferry steps to the outside and lands a cross to the body followed by a overhand right to the head.

Dyer switches the action to the outside.  Dyer is looking to force the stoppage!  Dyer lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He then lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND FERRY IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.  
Dyer lowers his guard, attempting to draw a lead.  Ferry tries to land a left hook, but Dyer blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  Ferry now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.
