Stuart Walker vs Edward Mabaquiao

Boxing Daily Report from the HONEYPUNCH promoted show at St Mirren Park, Glasgow,  taking place on 19/04/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Stuart Walker (17(5) - 0) who hails from Peterborough, UK and Edward Mabaquiao(6 - 12(1) - 3 - 1(NC)) from Manila, Philippines.  Walker weighed in at 154 pounds, while Mabaquiao weighed in at 154 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Hamish McBeth, and the three ringside judges are Angus Greenaway, David Hall and Peter Cullen.  

Round 1: 

Mabaquiao closes the distance.  Walker sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Walker digs in a stinging right hook to his opponents ribs.  Walker holds on to his opponent.  Walker is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Walker closes the distance and lands a left hook, left uppercut and a left hook to his opponents head.  
Walker digs in a right hook to Mabaquiao's body.  Walker clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Walker pushes his forearm into Mabaquiao's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Walker about fouling.  Walker tries to land a right uppercut, but Mabaquiao blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Walker walks Mabaquiao into the blue corner.  Walker throws a right uppercut, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Walker clinches his opponent.  Walker leans on his opponent using all his weight. As they grapple, Mabaquiao pushes his forearm into Walker's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Mabaquiao to stop fouling.  
Walker lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Walker connects with a firm cross.  
Walker closes the distance.  Mabaquiao lands a left hook.  
Walker sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Mabaquiao throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref ignores Walker's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Walker forces Mabaquiao to retreat into the corner.  Walker pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a stinging right uppercut.  
Walker drives a left hook into Mabaquiao's liver.  Walker ties up his opponent.  Walker leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Walker's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Mabaquiao tries to land a left hook, but Walker dodges the shot and counters with a solid left hook.  
Walker lands a solid cross.  
Mabaquiao finds the target with a jab.  
Walker lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Walker drives a stinging right hook into his opponents ribs.  
Walker closes the distance and drives a left hook into Mabaquiao's ribs.  Walker ties up his opponent.  Walker leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Walker lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents head.  
Walker gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Walker forces Mabaquiao to back into the ropes.  Walker is on target with a left hook to Mabaquiao's liver.  
Walker lands a right uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Mabaquiao's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Mabaquiao's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Mabaquiao's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Mabaquiao's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Round 2: 

Mabaquiao is looking to close the distance.  Walker lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Walker gets on the inside and lands a right hook, right uppercut and a left hook to his opponents head, AND DROPS MABAQUIAO TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 7.  
Walker lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a left uppercut to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Walker dabs at his face checking for damage.  Mabaquiao recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Walker lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Mabaquiao recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Walker lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Mabaquiao advances into close range.  Walker lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Walker attempts to land a right hook, but Mabaquiao blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Mabaquiao forces Walker to retreat into a neutral corner.  Walker lands a stinging right hook.  
Walker lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Walker digs in a solid right hook to his opponents body.  
Walker lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Mabaquiao throws a right uppercut, but Walker holds on to his opponent.  Walker leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Walker attempts to land a right hook, but Mabaquiao sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Walker is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Walker connects with a MASSIVE right uppercut.  MABAQUIAO IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 9.  It looks like Mabaquiao has now recovered from that shot earlier.

The right shot from Walker could be enough to force the stoppage!  Walker SLAMS a MASSIVE left uppercut into his opponents face.  MABAQUIAO HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  HE FAILS TO BEAT THE COUNT!  The winner by KO is Walker!
