Vicente Puerto vs Isidro Magpusao

Boxing Daily Report from the Ringside Promotions promoted show at Smart Arenata Coliseum, Quezon City,  taking place on 15/05/2042:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Philippines Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Vicente Puerto (40(30) - 6(4)) who hails from General Trias, Philippines and Isidro Magpusao(55(17) - 7 - 5) from Batangas City, Philippines.  Both Puerto and Magpusao weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ian Ablasa, and the three ringside judges are Angel Bulalayao, Beltran Macorol and Rex Melero.  

Round 1: 

Magpusao advances into close range.  Puerto drives a sharp right hook into his opponents ribcage.  Puerto tries to land a right uppercut, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Magpusao connects with a left hook.  
Magpusao digs in a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Puerto digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Puerto is on target with a sharp left hook to his opponents body.  
Puerto quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and digs in a solid left uppercut to Magpusao's body.  
Puerto lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  As Puerto tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Magpusao dabs at his face checking for damage.

Puerto sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.
