Jim Daly vs Farhan Ansari

Boxing Daily Report from the HONEYPUNCH promoted show at St Mirren Park, Glasgow,  taking place on 19/04/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the British Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Jim Daly (17(7) - 3) who hails from Edinburgh, UK and Farhan Ansari(10 - 12(2) - 6) from Edinburgh, UK.  Both Daly and Ansari weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Angus Greenaway, and the three ringside judges are Hamish McBeth, David Hall and Peter Cullen.  

Round 1: 

Daly steps inside.  Daly leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Ansari accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Daly.

Daly drives a sharp right hook into his opponents body.  Daly holds on to his opponent.  Daly leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. As they grapple, Daly pushes his forearm into Ansari's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Daly.

Daly is looking to close the distance and lands a sharp right hook.  
Daly lands a left hook to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a right uppercut to the head.

Daly steps inside.  Ansari pivots from in front of his opponent.  Daly lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Daly ties up his opponent.  Daly uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Ansari's kidney. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Ansari gets on the inside.  Daly lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Ansari is looking to close the distance.  Daly throws a right hook, but the shot is blocked.  Daly ties up his opponent.  Daly leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Ansari quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Daly lands a left uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body.
