Santiago Vas vs Carlos Diaz

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at HSBC Arena, Rio de Janeiro,  taking place on 24/05/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on ESPN Brasil, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Santiago Vas (14(7) - 0) who hails from Goiania, Brazil and Carlos Diaz(6 - 9 - 3) from Tijuana, Mexico.  Vas weighed in at 112 pounds, while Diaz weighed in at 111 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Ricardo Souza, and the three ringside judges are Ulises Domingues, Eduardo Mato and Hernan Morgado.  

Round 1: 

Vas gets on the inside and drives a right hook into Diaz's ribs.
