Ross Seward vs Fidel Barbara

Boxing Daily Report from the Jaromir Dobroniecki promoted show at Washington Avenue Armory, Albany,  taking place on 25/03/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Shamrock Fury Ross Seward (15(13) - 1) who hails from Dublin, Ireland and Fidel Barbara(47 - 14(9) - 5) from Boston, USA.  Both Seward and Barbara weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rich Ray, and the three ringside judges are Seth Owens, Cristiano Grimaldi and Francesco Gamba.  

Round 1: 

Barbara advances into close range.  Barbara pivots from in front of his opponent and digs in a right hook to Seward's ribs.  
Seward tries to keep the action at long range.  Barbara sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Seward finds the target with a solid jab.  
Seward hits home with a firm cross.  
Barbara walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Barbara lands a right hook.  
Barbara advances into close range.  Seward lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Seward drops his guard, and stalks his opponent...he wants his opponent to throw a shot.  Barbara lands a jab.  
Barbara walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Barbara digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Barbara lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Seward steps to the outside.  Barbara tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm right uppercut.  
Barbara gets on the inside and throws a left hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a sharp right uppercut.  
Barbara attempts to land a jab, but Seward sidesteps and counters with a cross.

Barbara gets on the inside and tries to land a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a BRUTAL left uppercut.  BARBARA IS HURT!  Barbara almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Seward switches the action to the outside.  Barbara quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a cross.  
Seward lands two jabs followed by an overhand left to his opponents head.  
Barbara closes the distance.  Barbara quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Barbara throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Seward's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Barbara's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Barbara's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Barbara cuts off the ring, trapping Seward on the ropes.  Seward is on target with a potent left hook to Barbara's body.  IT LOOKS LIKE BARBARA WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Seward knows Barbara is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Seward lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut, left hook and a right hook to his opponents body, AND SENDS BARBARA SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  Barbara now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Barbara pivots to the left of his opponent.  Seward digs in a stinging right uppercut to Barbara's body.  
Seward steps to the outside and is on target with a jab.  
Barbara advances into close range.  Seward is on target with a sharp left uppercut to Barbara's ribs.  
Seward tries to step out of his opponents range.  Barbara attempts to land a cross, but Seward slips the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
Seward hits home with a stinging overhand left.  
Barbara is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook.  
Seward switches the action to the outside.  Seward feints a cross, fooling Barbara into throwing a left hook counter.  Seward springs the trap and counters with  a left hook.  
Seward tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Seward attempts to land an overhand right, but Barbara sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Seward drives a hard jab into his opponents face.  
Barbara closes the distance.  Seward lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He then lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Barbara quickly recovers. 
Seward connects with a stinging cross.  
Barbara pivots to the right of his opponent.  Barbara attempts to land a right hook, but Seward slips the shot and counters with a firm right hook to Barbara's ribcage.  
Seward steps to the outside and lands a jab, overhand right and a jab to his opponents head.  
Barbara steps inside.  Seward whips in a mean left hook to his opponents ribs.  IT LOOKS LIKE BARBARA WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Seward clinches his opponent.  Barbara leans on his opponent using all his weight. Barbara tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Seward's kidney. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Barbara.  Barbara recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Barbara walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Seward lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Seward switches the action to the outside.  Barbara quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Barbara attempts to land an overhand right, but Seward slips the shot and counters with a stinging left hook.

Seward steps to the outside and finds the target with a ramrod jab.  
Seward tries to step out of his opponents range.  Barbara tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a stinging right hook to his opponents body.  
Seward is on target with a jab to his opponents body.  Seward throws an overhand right, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Barbara gets on the inside.  Seward pivots to the left of his opponent.  Seward is on target with a sharp right hook to Barbara's body.  Seward attempts to land a right hook, but Barbara parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Barbara finds the target with a jab.  Barbara tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid cross.  
Seward lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Seward lands a hurtful cross.  BARBARA IS HURT!  Barbara recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Seward sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a jab.  
Barbara steps inside and forces Seward to back into the ropes.  Seward throws a left uppercut, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Seward holds on to his opponent.  The ref breaks Seward's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Seward is on target with a mean cross.  BARBARA WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Seward tries to land a jab, but Barbara slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Barbara steps inside.  Seward is looking to put the pressure on now...he knows a few clean shots could mean an early night.  Seward lands a left uppercut, left hook and a right hook to his opponents head, DROPPING BARBARA TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 9.  
Seward steps to the outside.  Seward connects with a big cross.  BARBARA IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  HE IS UNABLE TO GET UP BEFORE THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Seward!
